I graduated from the University of Rochester with my bachelor's in English. I have always had a passion for puzzles, no matter how complicated. I love mathematics because they are a natural puzzle that must be solved. I love learning and teaching these subjects. Whether I am working with a student or learning on my own, I believe the most important thing is solidly understanding the earlier concepts. As a tutor, my student is the puzzle that I need to solve in order to remove the barrier between the student and the material. I work with the student to identify the roadblocks and determine the ideal path to cross it. Tutoring is about the subject and the student's learning style, making it one of the most beneficial forms of education. I am here to build a solid foundation of information while expanding on key concepts. Through ongoing success and engaging teaching methods, the student can become confident in their abilities in math. Through a personalized approach and self-motivated education, academic success is just around the corner. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading comic books and spending time with my beagles. I also enjoy taking in shows at the local theatre.
